A system built for a Sawmill Parkway building's column spacing doesn't automatically fit a newer shell going up further north, so a Delaware relocation starts by treating the new building's dimensions as the baseline rather than assuming the old layout will work again. The project covers labeled teardown of the existing system, coordinating transport to the new address, redesigning the layout for the new building's clear height and dock count, and reinstalling once the space is ready. 614-379-4436 ## Why Delaware Warehouses Work With Us A Delaware relocation usually traces back to a building that's been outgrown, not to rack that failed on the job. That matters for planning the new system: steel that felt undersized for a tight Curtis Street building can turn out right once it's redrawn against the taller clear heights common in newer US-23 construction. Our layouts account for the specific construction standards found in Howald Industrial Park. Manufacturers, agricultural product handlers, building supply distributors and consumer goods packers in this corridor often run material that has to come back together in a specific order, so teardown is done methodically, with every frame and connector tagged for where it lands in the new layout before it ever leaves the old building. Because a relocation involves layout planning, transport and reinstallation happening close together, the schedule follows the new building's actual readiness rather than a moving date picked in advance. For a Delaware operation shifting along the US-23 corridor, that typically means finalizing the new layout before teardown starts at the old site. Manufacturing Agricultural products Building supply Consumer goods ## How Warehouse Relocation Works Moving buildings without losing the racking plan that already works for your operation. 1 ### New building layout first Before anything comes down at the current site, we measure the new building's clear height, column spacing, and dock positions and draw a CAD layout sized to that space, so the relocation has a destination plan rather than a plan to recreate the old footprint. 2 ### Labeled teardown Frames, beams, and connectors are tagged by bay and row as they come down, sequenced around whatever the old building is still shipping or receiving, so nothing comes apart as an unsorted pile of steel. 3 ### Transport coordination Labeled components move between sites on a schedule tied to the new layout, so beams and frames arrive grouped by the bay they're going back into instead of needing to be re-sorted on arrival. 4 ### Reinstallation to the new layout Crews anchor, plumb, and level every frame against the new CAD drawing, re-hang decking and guarding, and post capacity tags for the finished rows. ## What a Delaware Warehouse Relocation Project Includes Work begins with the new building, not the old one: its column grid, clear height and dock layout get reviewed to determine what existing rack can carry over and where a different configuration is needed for how a manufacturer or distributor near US-23 actually moves product. Teardown at the old Delaware site is done row by row, with frames, beams and connectors labeled as they come down so reassembly at the new address doesn't depend on guessing which piece goes where. Transport is coordinated so labeled components arrive in the sequence the installation crew needs. If the new layout calls for rack beyond what's being relocated, that additional steel is ordered and scheduled alongside the move so the project doesn't stall waiting on one component. Reinstallation follows the new layout: crews anchor, plumb and level each frame, set beams at the elevations the new building requires, and apply fresh location labels and capacity tags. The outcome is a system matched to the Delaware building it's actually going into, built off current dimensions rather than carried over from the old one near Sawmill Parkway. Operations relocating between Columbus-area buildings with different clear heights Leases ending on a timeline that requires the current warehouse vacated Facilities consolidating two buildings into one new location Companies that want existing rack reused rather than replaced outright Operations adding new rack positions as part of the move Call 614-379-4436: 614-379-4436 ## Recent Installations Racking projects completed for warehouses across Central Ohio.
